The Jones Success Scholarship is offered exclusively at Emporia State University and Flint Hills Technical College.

1. Eligibility is based on place of physical residence, not high school from which the student graduated.
2. All students will be required to enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a 2.25 GPA per semester. Should the student not meet these requirements, they are able to regain eligibility after the successful completion of the requirements for one unaided semester.
3. Students who graduate from high school in December are not eligible for the first-year award until the fall following their graduation.
4. Students who enlist in the military immediately after graduation are eligible regardless of length of time in the military. Military service does not count against a student’s eligibility.
5. There is no application for the Success Scholarship program.
6. This is not a need-based scholarship.
7. Emporia State University and Flint Hills Technical College are responsible for identifying eligible students, as well as administering and marketing the grant.
8. When reviewing a student’s application to the Undergraduate Education Grant program, the Success Scholarship will be listed, if applicable, but not included in the calculation of “Total Other Resources.”
